Intercept ritual beams, stagger venom clears, stop spirits in the intermission, then balance and kill both bosses together in phase three.
Boss mechanics
Tank swap
No forced P1 swap. Alternate after each full Chop Down if your plan requires it; in P3, one tank holds each boss.
DO THIS: Swap exactly on this trigger and call it early.PHASE 1
Hold Zul’jan slightly off-centre and face him toward the outer wall. Stack behind him; place the Venom clear point at the nearby edge.
PHASE 2
Stack behind Malacrass, offset toward one side. Kite Manifestations to that same marked side, then face them to stop their advance.
INTERMISSION
Build a player line between the incoming spirits and Zul’jan. Intercept them one by one while everyone else burns the exposed boss.
PHASE 3
Tank both bosses close enough for cleave but with safe facings. Reuse the edge clear point and keep their health even.
Role assignments
Tanks
- Mitigate both hits of Chop Down; do not swap mid-combo.
- Take a fixed turn intercepting Ritual beams if assigned.
- During phase three, one tank holds each boss and maintains safe facing.
Healers
- Follow the assigned Bloodletting clear order.
- Stagger Venom Rupture stacks; simultaneous clears can overwhelm the raid.
- Save major cooldowns for phase three and Gloombomb overlaps.
Damage dealers
- Never let a Ritual beam empower the boss; rotate soakers cleanly.
- Face Manifestations of Dread to halt them, then kill at the stack point.
- Hard-swap to intermission spirits and balance both bosses in phase three.
Pull flow
- 01
P1 · ZUL’JAN
Rotate assigned players through Ritual of Fang beams. Bloodletting clears Ritual Venom but leaves its pool at the edge.
- 02
P2 · MALACRASS
Break Eternal Nightfall’s protection, group-soak Gloombomb, and face Manifestations of Dread to stop them.
- 03
INTERMISSION / P3
Block spirits from healing the bosses. Then tank one boss each, combine both kits and finish them together.
Difficulty changes
Destroyed globules apply stacking Venom Rupture. Clear them in an announced cadence and respect repeat-hit vulnerabilities.
Mutation patterns can chain explosions and leave persistent axes. Use fixed lanes and an explicit clear order.
